This city located in the Bosphorus is so old and new at the same time, oriental and occidental. In fact, this strait separates two continents: Europe and Asia.

Also, in this place you can admire one of the most beautiful shows of all Turkey: the wonderful red sunsets that reflect in the water. Hagia Sophia.  This church built by Constantine I has had different uses. From 916 to 1453 was a church, from 1480 to 1934 a mosque and from 1934 to now, a museum.

Blue Mosque. Was built between 1609 and 1616 by mandate of the Sultan Ahmed Camii. Its name is because of the covering of blue Iznik tiling walls.

Mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent. It is impressive, both for its location on a hill on the western shore of Golden Horn, and for its design. Is the bigger of Istanbul and maybe, the most beautiful.
